This project features stylized, character-driven illustrations created for an educational booklet developed for the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio).
The visual approach balances scientific accuracy with a playful and accessible style, making complex environmental themes engaging for children.
Aimed at young audiences, the publication introduces different cave zones — access, entrance, transition (twilight), and dark — explaining how light conditions influence plant life in these environments.
In addition to coloring pages, the booklet includes information on environmental protection legislation and a glossary with key scientific concepts.
